Scope:
Responsible for assisting quality assurance and quality system activities throughout the organization, through the development and implementation of methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products. Reviews manufacturing documentation to ensure it contains the necessary criteria and provisions to permit effective materials inspection and testing. Initiates corrective actions for procedural, product or process deficiencies. Supports activities on structured problem solving teams to proactively promote and contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Under direct supervision performs basic tasks to develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods and products.
Duties:
  • Review customer and product specifications (incoming parts and manufactured items) and implement inspections plans as necessary to ensure customer and product requirements are met.
  • Participate in NCMR failure analysis activities, initiate Corrective Actions when appropriate, and ensure customer requirements are adequately addressed.
  • Support prototype and Engineering Method qualification activities to ensure it meets customer requirements and specifications.
  • Assist with new process development activities to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Participate in and lead internal or supplier quality system audits.
  • Interface with supplier quality representatives concerning problems with quality and assure that effective corrective action is implemented. Actively support supplier corrective action activities through site visits.
  • Participate in customer surveys, audits, and source inspections as required.
  • Develop, execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
  • Conduct IPC 610 and IPC 600 training for staff as required. Obtain the necessary IPC certifications to conduct the training and maintain certification.
  • Comply with company policies and programs regarding safety, security, ISO, EEO, OSHA and Anti-Kick Back.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent problem solving ability.
  • Highly developed skills in oral and written communications.
  • Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
  • Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques and documentation.
  • Competence in performing root cause analysis
  • Willingness to travel
  • In depth knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to the interpretation of customer requirements.
  • Experience in ISO9000
  • IPC knowledge preferred
Education and Experience:
Education:Bachelor Degree in Quality, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
Experience: 0-2 Years Relevant Experience

Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$55,449 - $92,415

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
