The Manager of Lateral Attorney Integration works collaboratively with firm leaders to lead the integration efforts of lateral additions at all levels and new associate hires. This key role provides hands-on support to our lateral partners to ensure a smooth onboarding and their long-term success at Foley. The Manager also oversees integration initiatives and programming for laterals at other levels.

Responsibilities
    Manages firmwide integration efforts for attorneys at all levels, from new associates through lateral partners.
  • Leads onboarding and integration for all lateral partners; develops and executes integration plans; organizes and leads integration calls; and serves as key point of contact for lateral partners.
  • Understands firm's practices, people, and clients to best support and connect lateral partners with others across the firm.
  • Collaborates with firm leaders, partners, department operating officers, and business professionals across the firm's key functional areas including finance and accounting, talent, office administration, business development, and technology, to create a connected team aligned on key goals and milestones to ensure a smooth onboarding and integration for each lateral partner.
  • Identifies and raises integration issues or obstacles and works towards developing solutions.
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports on various practice-related metrics for lateral partners.
  • Oversees onboarding and integration of non-partner laterals; designs and implements initiatives and programming to support successful integration, including the firm's integration training series and other resources.
  • Oversees the orientation programming for new associates, collaborating with the Law Departments and attorney training team on tenure and practice-specific topics.
  • Monitors trends and best practices in attorney integration, including with regard to technologies and tools in order to propose new and innovative solutions that improve the attorney integration experience.
  • Develops strong relationships with attorneys and business professionals so as to best support the firm's attorney integration efforts.
  • Oversees budget and expense approval for integration-related expenses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, JD preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of law firm practice experience and/or experience working in attorney recruiting, practice management, business development, professional development, and/or human resources, in a law firm or professional services firm required. #LI-Hybrid

Pursuant to the Washington DC Pay Transparency Law and New York City Human Rights Law, the salary range for this DC or New York based position is between $143,300 - $233,700. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley.
