Ultrasound Sales Specialist Summary As an Ultrasound Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and promoting advanced ultrasound systems and solutions to healthcare providers, hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics. Your deep understanding of ultrasound technology, coupled with strong sales acumen, will enable you to demonstrate the value of the company’s products, guide healthcare professionals in choosing the right solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, relationship-building, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative medical technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales & Business Development:
Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities within your assigned install base.
Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including radiologists, sonographers, and hospital administrators.
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals, including pricing negotiations and contract discussions.
Market Research & Strategic Planning:
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the ultrasound space.
Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with customer feedback and market demands.
Develop install base specific sales strategies to increase market penetration and customer engagement.
Customer Support & Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, offering support and addressing any questions or concerns related to the ultrasound systems.
Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure quick resolution of customer issues.
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of ultrasound technologies and clinical applications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize workload efficiently.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Clinical or technical background in ultrasound is a plus.
2-5 years of successful sales experience in the medical equipment or healthcare industry, preferably with ultrasound systems.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market.
Experience in selling medical imaging or diagnostic equipment, particularly in ultrasound.
Established relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare and radiology sectors.
Clinical background in sonography or a similar field
