JOB OBJECTIVE: Manage and continuously improve a program for all phases of external audits, including customer and regulatory body inspections.
CORE DUTIES:
1. Manages and improves the External Audit facilitation program and associated work flows.
2. Serves as the primary key contact for scheduling and hosting external audits.
3. Key team member responsible for ensuring the site is audit-ready at all times. Routinely performs mock audit activities, identifies areas for improvement, tracks improvement efforts to completion, etc.
4. Writes and maintains documents for the external audit process to ensure continued program performance.
5. Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop content to orient and train employees on the external audit processes. Trains employees on the process and assigned responsibilities, as needed.
6. Positively represents Promega in discussions and interactions with partners, vendors or customers as requested.
7. Enters information into the eQMS and tracks activities to completion. Works with others to ensure actions are satisfactorily completed in advance of the due date.
8. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.
9. Works with management on urgent or critical activities needed for the business.
10. Makes decisions and exercises judgement in daily tasks, and effectively manages interpersonal issues and resolves conflict in a constructive manner.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum BS degree (or equivalent working experience) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing external audits.
3. Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft tools such as Sharepoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Power BI, etc.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills including formal presentation experience. Ability to work and communicate effectively within and across individuals with diverse scientific, business, and organizational knowledge.
5. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; manages various activities without direction from others and readily adjusts to shifts in workload or priorities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Ability to work with computers.
2. Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time.
